Jacob is a 1997 graduate of Stetson University, with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree (Major in General Business and Minor in Information Technology).  As a walk on to the cross country program at Stetson, Jacob met and began working with the head coach, John Boyle.  Jacob has worked off and on with Alta Vista Sports since that time in the early 1990's.  He spent four years serving in the United States Marine Corps, before coming to work full time at Alta Vista Sports in 2002.  Jacob is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Alta Vista's entire inventory of equipment, including the ChampionChip timing systems.  He is also responsible for course measurements, certifications, and management.  Jacob is able to score races using our computer network, scoring programs.  He also manages the website and has a hand in archiving the results from past years.
